I had to read it again to understand what you were talking about-I hadn't noticed anything JR/Adam related, but yeah, if that's all part of Adam getting at JR, that saddens me. I agree with your obversation, as I've mentioned it before. I think Adam does favor Colby, and in fact, I think it's more important to him, what Colby and KWAK think, rather than JR. I'm not sure he cares if JR understands where he was coming from. I'm not sure if Adam even thanked JR for his help, or ever gave him a pat on the back, for helping out while Adam wasn't himself. I think it's more important to Adam, to make JR feel like he's never good enough. Where JR is concerned, of course it wasn't right for him to plant the news item, but it's apparent why he did it, and Adam should understand-the reasoning- not being understanding. I'm not quite sure that it's possible for JR to understand why Adam outright lied about knowing where Kate was all along. If it wasn't his sister, maybe he could be more objective, I'm not sure. And then Adam just tosses JR aside, telling him his services aren't needed. I don't know, again, for some reason, when JR does something, it doesn't trouble me nearly as much as when Adam does (except for the faked kidnapping). I'm hoping the summer turns things around, and if not, maybe the new writers will, because father and son against each other, does not entertain me. It just seems so abusive and it's a dysfunction I don't like. If not Chandler Ent. I'm sure they'll have JR do something. I wouldn't think the haircut and this new direction was only for a few weeks, so we'll see what happens.
