Thanks, Barb. I just got the mag. He had indicated previously a number of time that it was the show's decision, and it actually made sense, with JR's story, that the hair was long, but it's interesting that it might have been a combination, and they sure gave him permission for quite some time. The new style is gorgeous, and fits the story, and once it was known he was getting it cut, I had a feeling JR was going in a better direction.

I'm ignoring BM, who apparently is so confident in himself, that he can ad lib like that about his co stars. Maybe Jacob can return the favor some time..
