He says we're not going anywhere. Ryan/Greenlee at the Comeback- Ryan had helped her pick up magazines- bridal magazines, and he happens to catch a dress and makes fun of it. Greenlee is horrified and when Ryan asks what's wrong, she tells him that dress is nearly the exact one she wore at their wedding. Finally! Adam at the mansion, talking on his cell, on the terrace, it's business- then he hangs up quickly because JR's there. He goes back into the living room, and thanks JR for coming. JR asks what's wrong, and Adam asks, can't I ask you here without there being something wrong? JR asks if he's having more panic attacks, and Adam snaps, I don't have panic attacks- Angie Hubbard doesn't know what she's talking about. JR lets it go, and sits down, and changes the subject- asking, how bout them Phillies? He makes small talk- when Adam clenches his eyes shut, and JR says there's something wrong. Adam says yes, there is, and it's serious. Angie and Jesse explaining to Frankie that they're exhuming his grave.

She was testing his memory or something and then Ryan gets angry, asking you think amnesia is something to make fun of? Greenlee apologizes, when Ryan blurts out laughing, that he got her and they joke around. He tells her he's moving back with Annie and Emma. Kendall doesn't understand why they can't have alone time. Angie and Jesse are trying to explain why they need to do this, they need closure. Frankie tells Jesse, he was there the day Jesse was buried, this is going to be very hard. Adam gives JR a glass of water, and implores him not to say anything, that this is just between them. He says that means KWAK, Babe, Colby- I don't want Colby to worry, especially. JR says this sounds serious, what's going on. adam sits and says I've taken time for granted. Colby was kidnapped, she thought she was going to die, and I haven't spent nearly the time with her that I should of. JR says, ok, I'm really worried now, if that was your goal, it worked. Are you telling me you're dying? Tad tells KWAK that he needs to watch someone dig up their grave Jesse looks out the window, then kisses Angie and they leave.

JR says I get it, ok- this is more dump on JR, remind me of my part in that, never mind, and he starts to leave, when Adam pulls him back. Adam says, as you and Colby have so delicately put it, I'm not myself lately. JR asks, dad, do I need to buy a vowel, or are you going to spit it out? Adam says simply, Chandler's in trouble, and I need your help. I'm not at the top of my game right now, I can't do it by myself anymore. I need you. Tad is upset, about what he needs to do, and KWAK asks, is this about Jesse, or about Kate? Tad says it's always about Kate. Ryan and Greenlee go down memory lane and she's grateful he remembers her.

Member Posts: 10600 04/23/08 10:32:11 Forum Moderator	Greenlee asks about him moving in with Annie, and he explains they have an arrangement- they won't sleep in the same room- but Emma was taken to the hosptial for a bug bite, and we want her to have sense of normalcy. Adam and JR come back from the library, back into the living room, JR's looking at a document, and Adam's explaining, that he couldn't believe what he was told, but it's true. He made a mistake, and because of it, Chandler lost a major deal- he feels embarrassed. All because he's not at the top of his game. He asks JR, do you have any idea how that feels? JR says yes, actually, I do. I'm sorry. Adam says I don't need your pity, I need your help. I need you to help me, and don't get the wrong idea- I'm not asking you to be under my roof, under my thumb- and I'm not giving up anything- no stock, no control and JR says of course not. JR sits down, and Adam says if you can accept my deal, it'll be on my terms, otherwise, I'll have to find someone else. JR asks who he'd ask, and Adam says I have no idea. You're the only one I trust. And that's not flattery, JR, that's a fact. The Hubbards arrive at the gravesite, and Frankie remembers asking his mom when he was little, if it's ok for boys to cry. There's a flashback, when Frankie was little, back to the house they lived in, as angie talked to him. back in the present, Frankie says I knew then that nothing would be the same without you. Angie and Jesse are in tears.

Member Posts: 10601 04/23/08 10:43:21 Forum Moderator	Angie and Jesse comfort Frankie and Angie assures him, that the only thing that helped her was having her son, Jesse was alone. But not anymore. Angie looks around, and Dixie's grave is near Jesse's. Tad tells KWAK, that everytime he goes to the cemetary to face Dixie's grave, he's reminded how badly he let her down. JR tells Adam this is the last thing he expected when Adam called him. Adam asks, will you help, and as JR's about to tell him, colby comes in, and immediately starts telling Adam everything she learned about panic attacks. JR says Colby- but she continues. Adam is feeling more and more stressed, and JR keeps trying to shut Colby up. Finally, he takes her, and asks, do you see what you're doing? You're upsetting him! Can you just shut up a minute? colby asks him if he's hungry. He suggests mabye she find a car to steal or a yacht, and she suggests he plan another kidnapping and this time, do it right. She reminds him that she's the one who's been taking care of Adam and they continue bickering, when Adam sits down and laughs, but JR asks him if he's ok, is he having an attack. Adam says no- I'm fine, I'm just enjoying the show. I was wondering how long it would take for things to be normal around here, again. very cute scene, actually.

Colby apologizes, she didn't mean to go off like that and JR starts to say something, when Adam says it's fine- JR and I were just talking. Colby sits down, and says I saw you and JR talking, and I automatically thought it was trouble. JR says we were having a calm and rational talk. colby asks, about what? JR says business and Adam clears his throat, and JR quickly covers, and explains he had a question about an investment, and Adam smiles, while colby's face is priceless- because it bores her to tears. She says well, sounds boring to me, so I'll leave you two- but promise no fighting. She kisses Adam's cheek, and leaves the room, and Adam says I owe you an apology. JR says you owe me more than that. Adam says I've been coming down on you pretty hard lately, assuming you're back on the bottle. You're fighting a disease, I understand that now, because I'm fighting one myself. JR nods, and Adam says I read the literature Angie gave me. I'm doing this to myself, and it's killing me. And, I need to take a break for a while. I guess that sounds weak. JR says dad, you've always been the wolf, out to get it's prey. To acknowledge that you need break from running the word, isn't weakness. It's smart. Adam says, I might need more than a break.

He asks, this was fun, wasn't it? She says yeah, it was. He leaves. Kendall wants to isolate them, so they can deal with this, but Zach doesn't. She insists they need to be alone. She reminds him of how he kidnapped her from Madden's island, onto the boat, and that led to their wedding. Zach is lying on the bed ignoring her, when she throws water at him. aww..this is the JR/Adam, I've been waiting for. JR tells Adam, that he's the gladiator, he's the one that everyone else guns for. He assures Adam, that there's nothing to be embarrased about or ashamed of. JR says I don't want you putting yourself down anymore-there's only one person who can gun for you, and that's you. You're going to be fine. Adam says I need you. I need your help. JR says you've got me. I'm all yours, whatever you need. last Jesse/Angie scene end of show

Member Posts: 583 04/23/08 11:32:42	Will wonders never cease? I didn't know if I would live to see the day when this show allowed the Chandlers to act like family again. I am amazed and truly delighted to read today's recap. I'm especially glad that they're providing a way for JR to make it up to Adam for the kidnapping scheme. The show is so much better when Adam and JR are together instead of apart. I'll make sure I watch this episode tonight.

Member Posts: 10605 04/23/08 11:35:26 Forum Moderator	I seriously have to wonder if Agnes Nixon is writing. I'm half kidding/half serious, because the head writers simply aren't this sensitive. This show is SO much better when JR/Adam are at their best. I'm writing the magazines. It was really wonderful to watch. Adam let his guard down, and JR was really there for him. I'm quite proud.
