I took it that Amanda was putting him down, as usual, but it sort of became a moot point, when she realized Babe was serious. Babe's dialogue yesterday was
odd, and if Chip Hayes wrote for her, he evidently didn't watch the other day, when JR told Babe he really doesn't care about Richie, and that his
family is more important now. He knew she finally believed him and that's all he needed. I think Babe wants to make it up to JR, and she also wants to
protect him, even if didn't quite come out that way.

I disagree. Amanda wasn't putting JR down in this scene. Not everyone here believes Amanda is a horrible person.
I also believe Babe is trying to protect JR which is considerate of her.

I never said Amanda was a horrible person, but I interpreted the scene differently, and felt she was putting him down.

At first, she was questioning Babe on "why?" she would want to help JR and the body language was clearly, that Amanda did not think JR was worth
helping. She then realized that Babe was feeling badly for not believing JR and the "why" was because Babe still had feelings for JR.

Jmd78, I just got annoyed that Amanda feels the need to ask what the real reason is. Does there need to be a real reason to help JR prove his innocence? Can't just helping JR be real reason enough? I personally, just FF thru most of the show, & just watch the JR scenes!

I agree, and didn't understand why Amanda couldn't just respect what Babe wanted to do, without the pressing third degree. But whatever, she
realized Babe is serious about this and was willing to help. I'm just a bit tired of every time JR's name comes up, Amanda gets an attitude- and yes, I
get they're not exactly friends, I get they both did actions that hurt each other, but I guess I'm just weary of the same dialogue. Especially when
it's one sided.
