OMG cuteness alert- JR and little adam all alone. Before Babe leaves, she tells little man, to be a good boy for his daddy. She thanks JR, and tells him she'll see him later and to call her if he needs her. JR holds out his arms, and she hugs him and he kisses her, and before she walks out, he says Babe? She turns around, and he simply says, thanks. Babe smiles, and says I guess you're stuck with me! she leaves, and JR looks thoughtful, as Dixie watches him. Then he turns around, to little adam, and says ok, what should we do today? little adam holds out his orange nerf ball and JR finds the toy elephant and cuteness ensues. Jacob is so good with Jared, it's adorable. JR asks where'd you get this guy? What's his name? little adam talks about playing ball and makes up a name and JR says I don't know it that's it- then he picks up little adam and he just laughs and laughs as JR tickles him, and JR laughs too. little adam wants to know how JR knows about elephants and JR says because I'm versed in elephants, and little adam just laughs. JR flips him upside down, and then JR jokes, either you're getting bigger or I'm getting old, and they plop on the couch. JR tells him that he had a stuffed toy once, named Cornelius, and little adam asks if he made scary faces. JR talks about Dixie, and about how smart she was, chasing the monsters away, and Dixie approaches from behind the sofa, and touches the back of JR's head. JR feels something, and turns around, touching the back of his head, then looking at little adam, wondering what just happened. He says to his son, everyone needs someone to get rid of the monsters.

Richie tells Babe he doesn't know what she's talking about, and Babe tells him she knows he set up JR. She asks, what did you think would happen, that I'd just run into your bed? Richie says you jump in and out of JR's often enough, why not? Babe slaps him, and Richie warns her never to do that again. She tells him she believed in him, that she wouldn't believe what anyone else was saying or warning her about. Richie says it's not like you can trust JR, Babe, so which is it? Who do you believe? Babe makes it clear she believes JR, and she knows what he did. She asks, did you honestly think I'd run into your arms? Well, let me tell you, it's over. We are not friends, it'll never happen, ever. Richie just smirks at her.

at the mansion, JR reads a book to little adam, and after he finishes, and puts it down, little adam asks for cookies. JR starts singing you are my sunshine, and Dixie sings along with him. little adam snuggles into JR, and falls asleep. As JR finishes the last verse, he sees his son is asleep, he gets up and picks up his son, to carry him upstairs for a nap. Dixie still sings, tears in her eyes, as JR leaves the room. Dixie cries out, why didn't you warn me? Why didn't you tell me I could feel love? My heart is breaking! Isn't it enough I've lost two children? It's a very touching scene from start to finish.

back at the comeback, Babe sees Richie for what he really is. Richie turns very mean, it's all over his face, and his voice. She says so that's the real you, the one Annie warned me about. She's got tears in her eyes, and he might as well be an animal, and she demands that he admit what he did to JR. But he won't. He plays innocent, telling her she doesn't know what she's talking about. Babe asks, why would you do that? He was willing to help you, I don't understand. Richie says a night with JR on top of a !%###$? Sounds like a normal night for JR, but Babe defends JR, and tells Richie she knows, admit it. But he won't. She says I know you did it. Richie says prove it, then. She says I will, and Richie walks out, throwing stuff out of his way. Babe goes to the bar, to calm herself down.
