the nominations seem to have caused much uproar, between who was and wasn't nominated. I was checking various articles, and it seems that not all members of the daytime community vote- the infamous blue ribbon panel is made up of only a few select people, and it was complained about, that there simply wasn't time to view all the tapes submitted, especially with 3 per category. They really should do this, just as the other industries do it, and have the entire community vote. AMC is so stupid, it might not even be so respected in the industry. I'm again, thrilled, that someone noticed David Canary, at least. In reading tv guide columns recently, along with the mags, some of the actors who were part of the voting committe, of course, who remained anonymous, indicated there was no way to view all the work submitted, and some even admitted, they were just going to vote for their friends. In the Supporting category, it seems, that give or take- it's pretty much the same people. I have to think, that next year, for example, DM and DW will certainly get a pre nom, if not go further. This show has to get more real, and more human and sensitive. I can only hope that Jacob gets better material so he can get acknowledged for this role.

David Canary was considering leaving- he hated how Adam was being written, he wanted Adam to have some importance to the show, and not be a monster, and he also thought he might have been missing a step as an actor as he's getting older. I hope he wins this thing- I hope he realizes what a legend he is, and what a master. as much as I adore the magic of Peter Bergman, I'm rooting for David Canary.
