Sam meets with Erica, and she asks for help in getting Carmen out, because she's innocent.

Jesse/Angie and Frankie joke around, and eat breakfast. Frankie wants to find a place of his own, but angie tries to talk him out of it. Angie and Jesse get a bit frisky and Frankie reminds them their child's in the room. Then when talk of employment comes up, Jesse jokes about being a salesman, then realizes wife and son are both doctors, so they can bring home the money, and Angie will be his sugar mommy. She laughs, and Frankie suggests, that maybe Jesse can go back to the force, which changes angie's mood, and she says, you want your butt whipped, don't you?

JR tells Babe, yes, Adam's my father, but that doesn't mean I'm like him. She tells him that Tad taught him the good things, but that Adam taught him the bad things, like lying and being in control. He looks at her, and gets up and says thank you so much. She insists she's not trying to put him down, but we're all part of where we come from. She says you have Adam in you. He says you're a bigger part of me. She says I'm not sure about that. He asks, what do you want from me? I leave the family business, I move into my father's house to try to find out what happened with my sister, he extends an olive branch, and I turn it down every time- what do you want? She says I don't want anything, JR. Tears are streaming down her face, and when she brings up the monster who tried to kill her, he sits down wearily, by the fireplace and he says you know, just once, I wish you could look at me, and believe me. You always want to look at the bad, and count the bad, you never take the good. Just once, maybe see that I've changed. Could you just believe in me, and give me the benefit of the doubt, for once?

the EMTs arrive and get Adam into the ambulence, with KWAK and Colby with him. KWAK assures him and supports him.

at the hospital, there is so much going on- Frankie's at the desk, and in slow motion, Angie takes everything in. someone was brought in bloody and his wife is crying. Angie finds Frankie, who is frozen, and he hugs him, and they both realize, it could have been Jesse.

the ambulence is on it's way, and Adam tries to talk- he says I'm sorry- but she shushes him. She jokes with colby that she should have taken the silver. But Adam's serious. He says I love you. She says I know. I heard you. I know, I know.

Babe tells JR, that her mother is a smart woman, and she keeps feeling like she's getting sucked back in, by Adam. JR tells her, Tad is good. But he's safe, and wonders if he's really the one for KWAK- but he asks, is that what you want Babe? Safe? Because the girl I met at the pier, was nothing like that, and Babe says I can't go down that road again. I can't. JR says I'm not going to be my father. I've going to win that battle. She says for your sake, I hope so. He asks, what about for yours? He's tired of this, and slowly gets up, when his cell rings. It's Colby, and he tells her to slow down, then promises he'll be right there. He tells Babe, my father's been taken to the ER.

well, today they allowed JR to point out Babe's mistakes- however, my problem with their dialogue, 99% of the time, is that there's too much focus on only JR. I'm so glad he called her on her stuff too. However, it was still imbalanced. So goes the Carey bible. but they work well together. Jacob really makes her work- and brings a lot out of her. I think they're interesting. I'm still mad at her, but they were interesting.
