Member Posts: 10499 04/09/08 02:27:25 Forum Moderator	you guys, I'm sure many others are with you, in wanting JR with someone else and many want them together, because they're just JR/Babe fans. It's subjective, and viewers can't help what they like, or what they don't like. Luckily, this is a JR site- it's not a JR/Babe site. No one is forcing anyone to like the pairing, I just happen to think they can be sweet, and I think Jacob actually brings out the best in the actress. As I've said, my feelings about Babe change daily, depending on how she's written and yesterday she sucked. I'm very anxious to find out if they allow JR to totally figure things out,and how Babe reacts. If I were JR, no matter the mistakes, I'd be pretty hurt at how Babe treated me, and yesterday, to me, JR showed that before he walked out on Babe. I'm sure, because JR loves her more than anything, he won't waste time, making her beg for forgiveness, but I'd like to think she would sincerely admit she was wrong. I think JR deserves better as well, but there's just something about them, when they're written well, that I like. We all have different opinions, it doesn't make anyone right or wrong. Member Posts: 10500 04/09/08 06:03:40 Forum Moderator	I do as well, at various times. This pairing has been written lopsided since AH's days, imo. I too, did away with them after the Josh thing. It was only when I observed AB and Jacob, in some nice scenes, that I felt perhaps this could work again. That is why I'm waiting to find out how they end this Richie garbage. Perhaps the writing will go in a new, better, and more equal direction. She truly needs an attitude adjustment. Very often, when a viewer likes a pairing, (I'm speaking in general) for whatever reason, no matter the crap they put each other through, said viewer still wants to root for the pairing. That's just what I've noticed. I'm not sure I'm rooting for JR/Babe- I have to see. I'm rooting for JR to prove what happened to him.

I chose not to watch yesterday after the first 10 minutes of the show. I am just tired of them constantly fighting over the same thing...and saying Ritchie was an innocent in all of this did it for me. Ugh It doesn't seem to me that they are planning on giving JR any other woman to pursue. He is hung up on Babe and she admitted she loved him. Guess we will have to see if the writers really want this couple to have a fan base. Barb

Member Posts: 10501 04/09/08 07:37:29 Forum Moderator	I will be fortunate, if the writing changes- if she doesn't return the love and respect, there's no sense in me rooting for them. the writers have shown, they are capable of writing romance- and I'm going to use Aiden/Greenlee, when Sabine was playing the role, as an example of that. There is no reason, why they can't write a romance for JR/Babe, that's rootable for some.

I don't like the way she w/ JR! it's only gotten worser, she's too high & mighty and judgemental, and she doesn't give him unconditional love. she doesn't even know what love is. then again she never did, she always chooses another guy over JR (the father of her son) and blames him for everything. watch after this Ritchie garbage she'll probably spin this to be JR's fault. and I don't want JR w/ Babe because he's always groveling and apolozies to this stupid biotch. she isn't worthy of JR. after this garbage hits the fan, Babe needs to lose everything.
