the storyline stuff in both mags, is a combination of Carly pulling out the stops to help Parker- and Noah and Luke getting into a fight.
For Carly's part, what it refers to is helping prove Parker didn't fire the fatal bullet to Sam. She and Jack recruit Henry, Brad and Katie for this scheme, in which Henry has to be alone with Kit, to tape her- Henry's wearing a wire, I think. Margo won't accept the tape, which makes Jack quit, and Vienna catches Henry with Kitt, and gets to hurt and upset that she goes running to some guy who offered her the indecent prospal? And she has revenge sex with him.
In SOW, MW has the "Closer Look" about the story, and she talks about working with Trent- she and Michael were both happy to finally work with a costar outside their little circle. Then, she talks about how they're missing the point with this plan- that of course Carly wants to save her son, but they're not addressing the fact that Parker did fire a shot-it could have been the fatal shot, and just because it wasn't, doesn't mean it shouldn't be addressed. The fact that Parker went to go get a gun, is very serious, and she hopes the writers can fix it, so that Parker's therapist returns, and it's addressed. She's also glad, that finally, they're allowing Carly to put her son, ahead of a man. First it was Simon, then Jack, and since Carly is so screwed up and will never be mom of the year, she's glad Carly's putting her son first. She praises Mick Hazen, noting that he's such a mature kid for his age, and the neither she nor Michael have to offer him advice. she praises his parents for his upbringing, and praises him for being such a wonderful actor.
the other story stuff about Noah and Luke- Noah receives a call from his father, asking to see him. Noah isn't sure he wants to do this, but Ameera, their new friend, is from Iraq and Noah's father helped her, so she knows another side of him, and wants to help. So, she, Noah, and Luke take a road trip. They get stuck in a remote area, and some drunk frat boys come upon them and start trouble. They take Ameera, and Noah tries to help, but they knock him out, so it's up to Luke, who is the hero. Van Hansis was very excited, because Luke is normally the peacemaker and he was happy that Luke got to fight. In the process, Lily and Holden find them, and the Synder men team up to get the bad boys.
Also in both mags, Michael Park is pictured after his broadway show- he looks extremely happy, posing with his wife and daughter, and with his stage co stars, and sounds exhuberant, talking about how good it felt to do stage again. Trent Dawson was one co star who was noted attended, and raved about Michael.
SOW's sneak peeks for 2/25: Will and Paul clash over Paul's new pal, Brad and Katie get passionate, Vienna's jealousy makes her see Gray, Sofie blows off Chris, alison makes a surprising connection, and Will and Gwen win custody of Hallie.
the next week, Alison starts digging into Matt's past, Ameera finds herself in a world of trouble.
